It’s the first day of summer and as always, we like to talk about, uh well, Christmas! First, we are pleased to announce our participation in a very special benefit event. On July 10 – Christmas in July - we will be performing a set of music at the V Spot in Scranton. This past holiday season, Danielle Vitale, the niece of our drummer Van White, was afflicted with a life-threatening case of COVID-19. Through medical care, prayer, and Danielle’s persistence, she fought through the virus. Unfortunately, the struggles continue for Danielle. This benefit is helping to raise money for the mountain of medical bills she incurred during her long battle with Covid-19.
In addition to Twelve Twenty-Four, music will also be provided by the bands Bat Out of Hell (a Meat Loaf Tribute Band), Beauty and a Beat, and Hair TV. The benefit will take place from 2 PM until 6:30 PM and tickets will be available at the door for $10 per person. The event will also include basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle! The V Spot’s bar will be open for food and drinks and is located at 906 Providence Road in Scranton Pennsylvania.
