Co-founder “JBird” Santos joined Twelve Twenty-Four in 2002. Initially, he was the principal pianist, keyboardist, and string section before the band expanded into an all-out rock orchestra. Throughout the years, JBird’s role has expanded to include lead vocals and lead guitar. JBird is also the principal composer and arranger for Twelve Twenty-Four’s original efforts.

JBird began performing at four-years-old and started teaching music at eighteen. Involved in numerous musical projects, he has performed in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Arizona, California, and Georgia. JBird has played on the opening stages for Eddie Money, John Waite, Quiet Riot, Great White, Nazareth, Little River Band, Grass Roots, Meat Loaf, Loverboy, Heart, and Journey.
